We understand that when embarking on a trip across the pond to work at an American summer camp, location is incredibly important. This is because after your summer camp contract has concluded your visa will allow you to have a further 30 days to see and experience the beauty that the United States has to offer.

When choosing a summer camp to spend your summer working at, it is important to know exactly how you will get to camp. America is such a vast country that travelling from location to location can be far more difficult than travelling to different locations within the UK.

The Tyler Hill location is very centrally located for both Pennsylvania and New York airports. Therefore, you have a huge number of airports to choose from that are within a 2hr 30min drive to camp. New York may be the easiest state to find flights to, however, there are airports within Pennsylvania that are much closer.
After the long travel from the UK to your destination airport, most camps will provide transport. This means that upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by a friendly face who will pick you up and bring you to your home for the 7-week summer period.
This allows you to not have to worry about logistics when you arrive. Simply sit back in the car, relax and enjoy the scenic journey to the camp location.
One of the biggest selling points of working at an American summer camp is the 30-day visa extension that you get upon completion of your contract to be able to travel the country. This gives you the perfect amount of time to be able to immerse yourself in the beauty and the culture that the United States has to offer.
