Camp Roles
Are you looking to spend your summer 2027 working at Timber Lake West summer camp?
The New York camp has so many amazing job roles across many different activities and responsibilities looking to be filled by hardworking and passionate individuals. Whether you are qualified or not, if you have the desire and work ethic to succeed at a US summer camp then there is a job for you at camp.
As a general counsellor at Timber Lake West, you will work with a very specific group of campers across a wide variety of different activities at camp. You will share a bunk with your campers and will therefore be their go-to individual for advice, friendship, concerns and comfort. These campers will see you as a role model.
As a specialist sports staff member, your days will consist of coaching and overseeing different groups of campers taking part in your specialist sport. You will be expected to come up with different drills, activities and tips that will help the campers to have fun while also improving their own sporting skills.
With a stunning 15-acre freshwater lake and a large outdoor swimming pool on the campgrounds, waterfront activities are a favourite amongst Timber Lake West’s campers. Because of this, the camp is looking for qualified and experienced lifeguards as well as very strong and confident swimmers to oversee the waters and the water activities.
Timber Lake West is also known for its incredible crafts programmes that are available to all campers. Campers are able to take part in workshops and classes for subjects such as mask-making, woodwork, painting, stained glass, model-making, ceramics and so much more.
Located on a mountainous 380-acre plot of land in rural New York, the adventures to be had on camp are well and truly endless. Activities such as archery, zip lining, mountain biking, skateboarding, go-carts, and ropes courses make up the adventure activities performed daily at camp.
Located just a 2-hour drive from the world-famous Broadway, New York City, Camp Timber Lake West has a phenomenal creative arts programme. The programme and its incredible facilities allow campers to pursue their creative arts passions while being taught by experienced actors, dancers and singers.
