You will start your days waking up in the amazing camp locations that we have dotted around the northeast of the country. You will then spend a large portion of your day teaching your skills and new routines to groups of excited young cheerleaders before winding down for the night around a campfire with the amazing friends you meet at camp.
In addition to your cheerleading coaching role, you will have the opportunity to take part in and oversee a huge amount of other activities. These activities include climbing, horse riding, water sports, sports, dance and so much more.

What Do I Need To Become A Cheerleading Coach At A US Summer Camp
Are you interested in becoming a cheerleading coach at a US summer camp but are unsure what you need?
Here are the main eligibility requirements needed for becoming a summer camp counsellor across America;
- Need to be 18 by June 1st of the summer you are starting
- Have a love for cheerleading and teaching
- An in-date passport to allow you to travel out of the country
- Available for the whole summer season

Frequently Asked Questions
Several different cheerleading qualifications can help you to become a cheerleading coach. However, you do not need a cheerleading qualification to become a summer camp cheerleading coach. If you have a huge amount of cheerleading experience then you can work alongside our qualified coaches to help develop your coaching skills hand on.
During the summer, you can expect to earn a minimum of $2000. All of your food, accommodation and training is included in the camp and is therefore not an expense you need to worry about.
