What Do I Need To Become A Climbing Instructor At A Summer Camp in the USA

No, you do not need any climbing qualifications to get a climbing instructor role at summer camp. We have roles for both qualified climbers and unqualified climbers. If you have years of climbing experience but no formal qualifications then you can work alongside our experienced and trained staff to develop your coaching skills whilst on the job.
Yes, all of our camp roles come with a week of training included. This will allow you to meet your fellow coaches and counsellors to enable you to build strong relationships before the summer properly starts. During the week you will receive all of the training you need and brush up on your skills to ensure that you can provide your campers with the best possible experience
