Camp Lagganlia is located in the heart of the Scottish Highlands but no matter where you are in the UK or overseas, we are really easy to get to.

Once your booking is confirmed, we will work with you to arrange a pick up time and location. All of our arrivals by air or rail will be met at the airport or station upon arrival and transported to camp.

Driving

If you are driving to camp: Take the A9 north to Kingussie and head north on the B9152 to the village of Kincraig. In the village turn right at the War Memorial and continue for approx 1 mile crossing the River Spey with Loch Insh on your right. At the T-junction after Loch Insh Watersports, turn left onto the B970 to Feshie Bridge. Once over the bridge turn right just after the red phone box. Lagganlia is approx ½ mile down this road on the right.

Flying

If you are flying to camp from overseas, we will help you with all travel arrangements on a case by case basis but as a general guide:

From overseas, fly into either Heathrow or London Gatwick , then jump on a domestic flight up to the highland capital of Inverness. We will be waiting at the gate for you.

If you live in the UK and the drive up North looks a little daunting then you can fly with various domestic airlines into Inverness airport. We will have set arrival and departure dates for all campers and details for any campers flying as unaccompanied minors will be given three weeks prior to travel.

Train

You could always take the train: The journey up is stunning and trains leaving Kings Cross in London, pass by camp and terminate in Inverness. The nearest station to camp is the town of Aviemore and once again, we will be waiting on the platform to whisk you off to camp. For all return journeys, campers will be checked onto all modes of transport by our staff and we will not leave the airport or station until we see them safely on their way.
