US Summer Camps
Wild Packs is passionate about introducing your family to the range of experiences available and to give an insight into what life is like on an American summer camp. Once you have made your mind up, please get in contact and let us help your child have the holiday of a lifetime.
What's it all about?
Our basic aim is to match the right children (campers) with the right camps. We work with thirty partner camps who collectively cater for just about any hobby, sport or general interest a child could possibly have. We will work with you to find the right camp, help you with all the logistics and be on hand as an experienced point of contact should you ever need to speak to someone.
Choosing the right summer camp program for your child is very important because the camp experience will have a significant impact on your child’s life. It is important for parents to choose a camp wisely and that’s where we come in. Consider the following points as you read through the rest of this website, then let’s have a chat:
- What do you and your child want to gain from the camp experience? Learn new skills, develop more self-confidence, improve proficiency in certain areas, become more independent?
- Would you like them to learn english or improve English comprehension
- What are the special interests that your child wants to explore?
- What kind of emphasis would your child benefit from the most? For example, is a lot of structure desirable, social interaction in english or does your child need a place where he or she is encouraged to develop at their own pace?
The program costs for a two week session range from $1200 to $2500 and for four week sessions the costs range from $2350 to $4400. These fees typically include all activities, tuition, food, laundry, trip days, and medical care. Program fees are set by the individual camps and will vary according to the activities they offer and their location. A summer at camp can begin from around June 16th and will close around August 20th.
If the set dates do not work for your family, we will negotiate a unique fee and length of stay with the chosen camp dependent on your circumstances and needs.
The word “camp” does not mean camping in the sense of a tent in a field. Unless your child wants to attend one of our adventure camps in Colorado, they will be staying in well-equipped log cabin style accommodation. All of our partner summer camps have substantial indoor facilities from dining halls to dance studios. The summer camp grounds are set up as holiday resorts for kids, so they will be warm and comfortable. And all camps have internet access, just in case you’re worried about getting a message to your child.
PARENTS: Word of warning. Don’t expect to hear much from your children once they get to their summer camp; they will be having too much fun. Fear not though, the staff will make sure they call and send letters home at least once a week and you can always call us if you need an update. We are in constant contact with all of our camps throughout the summer months.
