Volleyball and Tennis instructors are in huge demand but you will need to prove your ability to coach the sport to a high level and would ideally be active in your sport, year round.

A few things to bear in mind, Americans don’t really play netball, rugby or cricket and just about everyone who applies, claims to be an amazing football instructor. If you want to teach football, you are really going to have to make your application stand out from the crowd.
The more active and enthusiastic you can appear, the better your chances, so make sure you tell us all about everything you enjoy doing. Here is a few quick words from Amy who works as a Volleyball coach on camp in America. (We love Amy but perhaps a career on TV is not for her ; )

If you make an excellent effort and we think we can help you, we will discuss your options and once we are all on the same page, we will get you chatting with actual camp owners. We will also require that you pay the first £100 of your program fees to show us and the camp that you are serious about the program. We call this your “Evidence of Intent”. (This amount is fully refundable so long we have not introduced you to a camp).
The camp director will get in touch and assuming you make a great impression, fingers crossed they will offer you a position for the summer.
On receipt of your contract and assuming you are happy with what you have been offered, we will start your visa application.
We have no registration fees and we will not encourage you in any particular direction unless we feel there is a really strong chance of you being successful and it is on a camp that you would like to work on.
Our total program fees are just £365 and you only need to pay these once you are placed at a camp. The program fee covers your visa forms, your medical insurance, help and support in the UK, and of course a 24hr help line while you are in America should you ever get stuck.
To apply, please fill in your free staff application and let the summer camp adventures begin.
