One of the fastest growing new areas of summer camp activity would be in the digital arts field. We should stress that you do not need a formal qualification in these areas; weare looking for hands on experience.

camp dance staff

Camps are spending serious amount of money on the equipment needed to deliver this activities; to the extent that last year more than half of our camps were producing weekly shows that were delivered on stage, green screen and over the radio. All of these shows needed filmed, produced, edited and delivered to the camp community. Reckon you could help?

Camp really does offer you a phenomenal opportunity to gain relevant hands on experience in your chosen field. We would go as far as to say that you would need to be very fortunate to be exposed to the same level of responsibility and participation, as a student, in any media related area out with camp.

Activity areas such as Theatre and Dance are two of the most competitive areas to sussesfully be offered a position in.  You need to be very experience in these areas if you are going to apply for a chorography position and to be blunt, you must be able to demonstrate a significant degree of humility. You may one day hope to become the next big thing but at camp, the kids are the big deal, not your career aspirations.

If you make an excellent effort and we think we can help you, we will discuss your options and once we are all on the same page, we will get you chatting with actual camp owners. We will also require that you pay the first £100 of your program fees to show us and the camp that you are serious about the program. We call this your “Evidence of Intent”. (This amount is fully refundable so long we have not introduced you to a camp).

The camp director will get in touch and assuming you make a great impression, fingers crossed they will offer you a position for the summer.

On receipt of your contract and assuming you are happy with what you have been offered, we will start your visa application.

We have no registration fees and we will not encourage you in any particular direction unless we feel there is a really strong chance of you being successful.

Our total program fees are just £365 and you only need to pay these once you are placed at a camp. The program fee covers your visa forms, your medical insurance, help and support in the UK, and of course a 24hr help line while you are in America should you ever get stuck.
